This hospitable city in the south of Minas has almost 200 years of history. Step back in time and visit the Matriz de São Sebastião Church, the Bom Jesus Church, the Cooperative de Café (Coffee Cooperative) and the Casa da Cultura (Culture House). Visitors can bathe in the thermal waters of Termópolis and the Thermas Água Azul. Local folklore, very important for the city’s people, is brought to life in December through the Congada and Moçambique festivals.
